Pictures of Papa Roach, Seether and Staind from The Fillmore Dec. 2, 2008

Good Evening all~
I am pooped and fighting staying awake. The Staind show was so much better than I thought it would be. I went for Seether and stayed to see If Staind was anything like they used to be. They were and they made the show a lot of fun. I even had fun with Papa Roach, which was a huge surprise, since i am only a fan of the first album and a few songs I have to play at work. But I will do a full write up but here are the pictures. In order of appearance. if you click on any Picture the ful size picture will come up in a new window and these are big.

Five Finger Death Punch With In This Moment December 1, 2008

The first night of many shows this week started off with the 'KBPI's Mistletoe Jam' with Five Finger Death Punch, In this Moment, A band called Horse and who ever the best band in Denver is. I had school tonight and so I missed A band called Horse and whom ever the Best Band in Denver is. Its okay, In truth, i only went for In This Moment and to hear a few Songs from Five Finger Death Punch that I like.

When I entered the Fillmore In this Moment had already started so I darted in as fast as i could to the font. I found myself at the soundboard with a full crowd in front and in back of me. Not a sold out show, but I would have guessed 80% full. In this Moment was full of vibrant energy that touched us all no matter where one stood. The set was a combination of new and old songs, but more of the favorites. She ended the set with 'Beautiful Tragedy', and it simply was a tragedy that it was over.

Five Finger Death Punch came on in Lighting fast speed for a set change. They took the stage and took control of the night. The lead singer constantly rushing throughout the stage to only stop suddenly and slowly move, he reminded me of a lizard at time with his body moments. Only fitting was he wearing a shirt that proudly said, 'Colorado'. I bet he planned it. The pit was extremely fast paced and the big boys where out in force and they were angry. This girl did not circle. I know when it's safe to enter the pit. :) Even though I wasn't In the pit the aggression was thick, i would have thought Denver would have gotten most of it out Last Friday. Guess not.

Five Finger Did Bad Company's 'Bad Company' with style and really pulled it off. It was a very nice compliment to the show as a whole. I stayed to record 'Never Enough' and 'Stranger Than Fiction'. I waited a few more songs then I left. I will be at the Fillmore tomorrow night for Seether and staind and I Have work early in the morning so i saw it was almost over and I took off.

Pictures of the bands are below:
